Audiences and Institutions: which institution may promote my artist's music

The magazine which I hope would support the promotion of my artist is NME, I feel this magazine suits the ideology of my artist because they seem to promote a lot of similar artists/bands in that particular music genre. This magazine includes a lot of artists who have a similar target market and artists that have a individuality expressed through their music. Alexa fits correctly with this magazine as her music and personality is so distinct and therefore would successfully promote her music.

My media product represents the social group as shown on the previous most of my audience profiling. The particular social group is expressive, use social networking sites, digitally aware, curious about music and stereotypically indie. This is represented through the typography of serif typeface and the specific house colours used as they are very unique and creates a brand identity. The use of image is particularly effective, especially the directly addressed impact showing depth of lyrics and the heavy make up that the artist is featuring is very common. The layout shows that the main focus and attraction is the music which is what my social group is focused on.
