There is a relationship between lyrics and visuals, this may be done in the following three ways:
- Amplifies - This is when there is an obvious link between the lyrics and visuals which can be seen in the music video shown.
- Illustrates - There is an illustration of the lyric and visual link
- Contradicts - This is when the lyrics completely contradicts what the audience is seeing
